Background
We are excited about the rising popularity of the Washington Spring Ball. For that, we recognize the talents of our callers, musicians, as well as present and past Ball Chairs. But sadly, we face the prospect of exceeding the capacity for comfortable ECD in the Civic Center Ballroom. Therefore, your organizers feel that it is prudent to notify you that we may need to institute a wait list for late registrations.
Accepted Dancers
If you have already been notified of acceptance, don't worry. BUT, if plans change and you can not come, please notify, via email, the , ASAP, so that we can admit dancers who may be wait-listed. Refunds will be made for timely notifications — by NOON on Thursday, May 10th — to give us time to accept wait-listed dancers. (Note that we don't process refunds for no-shows.)
Wait Listing
- When we hit our ceiling on the number of dancers that the hall can accommodate, applicants will be wait-listed; if a space opens up, they will be notified via email of being accepted. Accepagtance will be on a first-come-first-served basis, based on postmark or electronic payment date.
- Dancers who are wait-listed will be notified via email.
- Those who may wish to be dropped from the wait list should notify, via email, the . We will do our best to accommodate all who wish to attend and dancers may even be accepted on the day before the Ball.
- Checks will be held and torn up if an applicant is not accepted.
- LATE REGISTRATIONS: Do not send last minute registrations via ordinary mail as they are unlikely to be received in time for acceptance: pay on-line.
No Ticketing at Door
Please note that dancers must pre-register; there can be no last-minute admissions at the door on the day of the Ball.
